Dear Diary,Tonight I had coffee with perhaps the most fascinating individual I've ever met. Half Syrian, half American, studying international law at the University of Exeter in the UK. Speaks fluent Arabic. Wants to be a missionary to North Africa and the Middle East. Actually uttered the phrase "masturbating porno freak" in my office this afternoon. Listens to The Smiths and loves A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum.
I only write this to mark the occasion, in case six months down the road I either hate her or marry her.

haha. It IS nice to meet a Christian girl who isn't boring. Whatever did happen to people actually caring about this amazing faith we have. To the Middle East and beyond I say.
I'm glad that I've gone and seen and still desire to go and see what God is doing in the world.
